Transporter 2 (2005)

Transporter 2, the follow up to The Transporter, served plenty of heart pumping action and fluid martial arts in its September 2, 2005 release. Though the movie received reviews as bad as 4/10 and disappointed in the box office, I thought this movie was a little better than what was thought of it. In spite of some scenes being entirely fake and too impossible to happen in real life, Transporter 2 kept me on the edge of my seat with car chase scenes, and two big scenes with Frank Martin (Jason Statham) dishing out some martial arts to stay alive.

The story to this movie was alright, as Frank Martin serves as a chouffer to a rich family, picking up their child everyday from school and back home. However, things took a negative turn for the worst when Audry (Amber Valletta) asks Frank to take their son Jack to the doctors office where he is confronted with a bunch of people who want to infect the kid with a deadly virus. Frank rids them off the first time with the second big fight scene but they catch up with them once Frank makes it back to the child's home. From then on, it's a race to save the child before the virus becomes air-borne.

My overall opinion of this movie was that again, though many scenes were way too fake, I thought the movie itself was decent with a good story, good acting, and good martial art scenes. I, personally, am a huge Jason Statham fan and loved the first Transporter and though I thought the first was better, Transporter 2 gets a 7.5/10 from me. I thought it was pretty decen
